The India Post GDS Merit List 2024 is prepared based on the scores obtained/ conversion of Grades/Points to marks in the Secondary School Examination of 10th standard of recognised Boards aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals. For students whose Secondary School Examination of 10th standard mark sheet comprises the marks as mentioned in each subject or marks and Grade/Points both, their total marks will be calculated by taking into account the ‘marks obtained’.

Candidates who will find their name or roll number in the Gramin Dak Sevak result will be shortlisted for the document verification round. They need to carry the following documents in original and two sets of self-attested photocopies for submission:

• Identity proof
• Caste certificate
• PWD certificate
• EWS Certificate
• Transgender certificate
• Date of Birth Proof
• Medical certificate issued by a Medical officer of any Government Hospital/Government
• Dispensaries/Government Primary Health Centre etc. (Compulsory)
• Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in respect of knowledge of tribal/local dialects in case of engagement in their respective state.
