For admission in 2024-2025 Government of Gujarat, Department of Education, Secretariat, Gandhinagar Circular No. : Sheet – 2024 -103- K1 dt. As per 19/03/2024 every student will have to proceed as follows to gain admission:
Step: 1
Registration will remain on the GCAS portal. Dt. Registration on GCAS portal will start from 01/04/2024. Link for Registration on GCAS Portal: https://gcas.gujgov.edu.in
Step: 2
After registering on the GCAS portal, the student will have to upload his/her basic information and required documents on the portal (eg.LC, mark sheet, caste certificate, income proof, student’s photograph and signature etc…) and select the college to study. will continue to give; Online fee (Rs. 300) has to be paid and application has to be submitted final.
Step: 3
After registering on GCAS portal, document verification will be done at the nearest help center.
Step: 4
A Provisional Merit List will be prepared by the University for the admission process through (Entrance Examination / Provisional Merit List) as per the norms fixed by the University and the Provisional Merit List will be announced simultaneously by each University.
Step:5
If there is any grievance regarding the Provisional Merit List prepared by the University, then after the publication of the Provisional Merit List, on the 2nd day, he will have to go to the University / College Grievance Cell and present it.
Step: 6
Final merit list and allotment will be announced by the university / college after the alloted grievance day-2.
Step: 7
Students have to pay the fees as per the instructions of the college or university to which they have got admission.

Important Notice for Class 12 Students
To inform every student who has given class 12th exam that for those who want to take admission in college Gujarat government has created Common admission portal GCAS from current year, on which students have to do their online registration compulsorily by 5/4/24.
Registration for admission is to be processed as per below.
By visiting any knowledgeable computer center…
First of all open GCAS website
Then click on Apply Now on the top right side
Then in the details that will open, the student should enter his name and date of birth as per the mark sheet of class 10.
Write your category carefully.
Student’s own email id has to be entered there. (If no e-mail id, create it)
Enter your mobile number which will last forever
After filling this, you will have to enter different OTPs on both the mobile and email IDs you have enter.hen you will get a message on your mobile number and email stating that your registration has been completed
Finally you will receive a mail on your email id, in which a User Name and Password have been sent which you have to keep very carefully forever..
It is necessary to save this User Name and Password and Email ID for the further process of admission in the college, without it you will not be able to join any further process which should be taken seriously.
