1. Gram Sevak (Village Worker) Class-3
   • No. of Vacancies: 500
   • Qualification: Bachelor of Rural Studies (except BRS in Home Science) / B.Sc. (Agriculture) / B.E. (Agriculture) / B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) / B.Sc. (Horticulture) from a recognized University; OR Diploma in Agriculture / Horticulture / Agriculture Engineering / Agro-processing / Polytechnic Diploma in Agriculture Co-operation Banking and Marketing from a recognized Agriculture University; AND Basic computer knowledge; AND Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
   • Age Limit: 18 to 35 years (as on 07/05/2026). Age relaxation applicable as per rules for reserved categories, women, PwD, and Ex-Servicemen (maximum upper age limit 45 years).
   • Pay Scale: Fixed Pay of ₹26,000/- per month for the first 5 years (contract basis). Regular pay scale applicable after 5 years subject to satisfactory service.

Selection Procedure

• Written Examination: Competitive examination in MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) format via Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) or Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) method.
• Exam Pattern: Single question paper (objective type) of 200 marks, 3-hour duration:
  • General Awareness and General Knowledge: 35 marks
  • Gujarati Grammar: 20 marks
  • English Language and Grammar: 20 marks
  • General Mathematics, Reasoning & Data Interpretation: 25 marks
  • Job-related and Technical Knowledge (based on educational qualification): 100 marks
• Negative Marking: -0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
• Provisional Answer Key (PAK): Published after the exam; candidates can raise objections. Final Answer Key (FAK) prepared thereafter.
• Provisional Merit List: Prepared based on marks obtained, category-wise vacancies, and applicable bonus marks (widows, sports).
• Document Verification: Candidates in the Provisional Merit List are called for certificate/document verification.
• On-screen District Allocation: Eligible candidates after document verification are called for on-screen district allocation.
• Final Select List & Recommendation List: Published after on-screen allocation. Waiting list also prepared as per rules.
• Minimum Qualifying Standard: Not less than 40% for any category.
• Tie-breaking: In case of equal marks, preference given to older candidate by date of birth; if still equal, by educational merit.

3. Click on the advertisement for ‘Gram Sevak’ (Advertisement No. 03/2026-27). Read the detailed notification carefully.
4. Click on ‘Apply’. You can apply either using OTR (One Time Registration) or by filling in all details manually (Skip option).
5. Fill in all required details including personal information, communication details, educational qualifications, disability details, etc.
6. Upload a recent Photograph (up to 15 KB, JPG format) and Signature (up to 15 KB, JPG format).
7. Read the Declaration and click ‘Yes’ if you agree. Save the application to generate an Application Number.
8. Click on ‘Confirm Application’, preview your application, make any necessary edits before confirmation, and then confirm. Once confirmed, no changes can be made.
