The main objective of Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana 2022:
Kill the poor people of the country who have nothing to do with banking facilities. But the Prime Minister of our country, Shri Narendra Modi, has not opened the zero balance account of those poor people. Along with this, they have also been introduced to banking facilities. Savings account of any person can be opened through this scheme
Life insurance cover of Rs 30,000 is also given under Jan Dhan Yojana.
The beneficiary’s bank account should be linked with the Aadhar card to avail the benefit of overdraft facility of Rs 1 lakh.
This account is also used to take advantage of various schemes issued by the government.
