इस भर्ती के तहत कुल 3058 पदों पर भर्ती की जाएगी। इनमें सबसे अधिक कमर्शियल कम टिकट क्लर्क के 2,424 पद, अकाउंट्स क्लर्क कम टाइपिस्ट के 394 पद, जूनियर क्लर्क कम टाइपिस्ट के 163 पद, और ट्रेन क्लर्क के 77 पद शामिल हैं।

आवेदन के लिए योग्यता

कर्मशियल कम टिकट क्लर्क पदों पर आवेदन करने के लिए अभ्यर्थियों को किसी मान्यता प्राप्त बोर्ड से कम से कम 50% अंकों के साथ 12वीं कक्षा उत्तीर्ण होना आवश्यक है। हालांकि, एससी, एसटी और दिव्यांग (PwD) उम्मीदवारों के लिए यह 50 प्रतिशत अंकों की शर्त लागू नहीं होगी; इन श्रेणियों के अभ्यर्थियों के लिए केवल 12वीं पास होना पर्याप्त है।

जबकि अन्य सभी पदों के लिए उम्मीदवारों के पास कंप्यूटर पर टाइपिंग कौशल होना आवश्यक है। जिसमें अंग्रेजी में न्यूनतम 30 शब्द प्रति मिनट या हिंदी में 25 शब्द प्रति मिनट की टाइपिंग गति अनिवार्य रखी गई है।

कैसे होगा चयन?

CBT-1 परीक्षा के बाद उम्मीदवारों को उनके नॉर्मलाइज्ड स्कोर के आधार पर CBT-2 के लिए शॉर्टलिस्ट किया जाएगा। रेलवे भर्ती बोर्ड (RRB) द्वारा यह शॉर्टलिस्टिंग कुल रिक्तियों की संख्या के 15 गुना अनुपात में की जाएगी। इसका मतलब है कि पहले चरण की परीक्षा में प्रदर्शन के आधार पर योग्य उम्मीदवारों को अगले चरण के लिए बुलाया जाएगा।

CBT-1 परीक्षा सभी पदों के लिए समान (कॉमन) होगी। यह परीक्षा 90 मिनट की होगी और इसमें कुल 100 प्रश्न पूछे जाएंगे। प्रश्न पत्र में सामान्य जागरूकता (General Awareness) से 40 प्रश्न, गणित (Mathematics) से 30 प्रश्न और सामान्य बुद्धिमत्ता व तर्कशक्ति (General Intelligence & Reasoning) से 30 प्रश्न शामिल होंगे। परीक्षा में प्रत्येक गलत उत्तर के लिए एक तिहाई अंक की नेगेटिव मार्किंग भी लागू होगी।

CBT-2 परीक्षा भी सभी पदों के लिए कॉमन होगी। यह परीक्षा भी 90 मिनट की होगी, लेकिन इसमें कुल 120 प्रश्न होंगे। इनमें से 50 प्रश्न सामान्य जागरूकता, 35 प्रश्न गणित और 35 प्रश्न सामान्य बुद्धिमत्ता व तर्कशक्ति से होंगे। अंत में अकाउंट्स क्लर्क कम टाइपिस्ट और जूनियर क्लर्क कम टाइपिस्ट पदों के लिए अभ्यर्थियों को टाइपिंग स्किल टेस्ट (Typing Skill Test) देना होगा, जो केवल क्वालिफाइंग नेचर का होगा।
